The first variant of the EPAS patch. The so-called ‘Balashova’ patch made its appearance in 1972 and was this project’s official patch. The Interkosmos patch. A variant used by the Soviet-Czechoslovakian crew, in the Czech language. Was used in 1978 by Soviet and Czech cosmonauts from the principal and back-up crews of Soyuz-28. Worn on the right side of the chest or on the right sleeve of spacesuits, and likewise on the upper and lower right sides of training suits.Das Interkosmos-Abzeichen der sowjetisch-tschechoslowakischen Mannschaft, in der tschechischen Variante. Wurde 1978 von sowohl den Haupt- und Reservemannschaften der sowjetischen und tschechischen Kosmonatuen der Sojus-28 Mission entweder auf der rechten Brust, oder dem rechten Ärmel der Raumanzüge, sowie der rechten Seite der Trainingsanzüge getragen.
